Hello!
10 facts about me:
- I grew up on a farm outside of Estevan, SK, CA.
- I graduated from the University of Regina with an Arts Education degree in 2015 and finished my Arts degree- Special in Visual Arts in 2018 online.
- I am a trained recreational artistic gymnastics coach.
- My favourite kinds of books are about the science of health, historical fiction and biographies.
- Creating art will always be important to me. I find most enjoyment in pottery and realistic drawing.
- I LOVE animals.
- Running, dancing or any exercise always restores my energy and makes me feel fresh for any challenge.
- So far, I have taught Social 6, Arts Education 6-8, K-2 Health, K-5 Music and Dance, Physical Education 1, Music 8, all grade 4 classroom subjects and a partial year of classroom subjects in grade 7 (left for mat leave). Now I am teaching grade 8!
- If I could teach outdoors year-round, I would.
- I have a little girl named Jordyn and a spouse named Jay who are my world.
